This Saturday morning, we loaded the boys up and biked to Pfluger Park. I love this park. It has great shade, lots of room to run and a terrific creek for kids! It was pretty decent weather; only in the 80's. There were a lot of other families there. After trying, unsuccessfully, to get Jace to make his own friends instead of playing with us on the play ground, we walked over to Gillead Creek. We explored the fishing areas and then all took our shoes off and played in the creek. Jace and little Johnnie just had the best time. I wanted to soak up every minute of this morning. And I am thankful for the opportunities God provides us to mentor and grow closer to our kids.
