Jace and I took a trip to see "Grandma Ruby", as Jace calls her. It was so good to see her. It's been way to long. We went to see how she was doing after her hip surgery and to see her new house.
Jace was so helpful. He took a picture of me and my grandma. "Grandma and Mom...take 21!"
Hip surgery or no hip surgery, my grandma thinks some things are too important to miss out on. Love you grandma!
A major highlight of the trip was picking vegetables in the garden.
Jace got to show his great grandma some new tricks. How to put together a "Mr. Potato-head". The madder she got at that thing, the more I laughed. She had all the parts in the wrong place!
Grandma showed Jace how to do a push-up on the exercise bars at the park. (Shhh, don't tell her hip surgeon.)
A local artist made animals out of old auto parts...COOL!

"Read me 'anuner' one, Grandma Ruby."
and 'anuner'
and 'anuner'.
