First Trip to the Dentist

(Last Week):

Well, another milestone was reached: Jace's trip to see Dr. K (and Jeanine, the best hygientist ever!).

I think Jace was in 'Big Brother' mode with Greggie watching him, because he was so brave about the whole thing. He wasn't (or didn't appear to be) nervous or scared once. I was expecting the worst, since Jace had informed us a few times prior to this day that he did NOT want to go to the dentist. And he's typically pretty timid about new things. Honestly, I was really dreading this day. In fact, Kendall told me it would be best if I didn't go. (I agreed) The day before, though, we all decided to go and make it a family event. As we walked out of the Dr.'s office, Jace said his favorite part was seeing his x-rays on the computer screen. Afterward, we all celebrated by going to McDonalds. I'm proud of you Jace!

p.s. Jace has even been reminding me, since the visit, to make sure and floss his teeth!
