Moses and Jace

Jace is really into Moses right now. Here he is sporting that famous 'staff' and 'ten commandments'. Actually Jace's enthusiasm about Moses is has grown these past few months. It all started last summer when he watch Disney's "Prince of Egypt". He's asked me to retell him the story of Moses almost every night at bedtime since then. He regularly pretends he's Moses and is parting the waters with his 'staff'(our dog's spanking stick). He has also, been 'turning' his bath water into blood regularly. (sounds gross, but I go with it) We started reading through the life stories of Moses in a new Children's Bible we got from my mom, recently. Then, Jace shows up with the Ten Commandments from Sonshine Hour last week. It's been a blessing to see his interest in the Bible grow. There are so many lessons we've been able to teach him through Moses' life. You wouldn't believe how Moses' life (it's victories and mistakes) can relate to the 3 year-old experience!

Jace has 2 great parents to help teach him! Isn't it amazing how kids are like little sponges? Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's scary.

I can't get past the spanking stick for Maggie. :o( LOL. I just use my hand...y'all are fancy shmancy.
That is hilarious. David was my favorite and supposedly I would tell the stories to my parents instead of them telling the stories to me. I am such a talker...

I need to check blogs in the morning instead of in the evening when I'm exhausted...I thought Jace was holding a SNAKE! What was I thinking?
